FA Studios Laser Gallery - Tate Liverpool

FA Studios - Tate Liverpool

Our FA Studios team worked with the folk at the Tate Gallery Liverpool in creating a 'compose a question' unit that was housed within an existing table.

The unit composed of two barrels; one with several different question prepositions and the other with potential recipients, you can cycle through these by rotating the barrels with a spinner. The idea is for visitors to take a paper 'question strip' and etch their chosen preposition and recipient onto the strip with a pencil and make up their own question. The intention to encourage dialogue between the gallery, it's employees, artists and the visitors.

We like to think this project was a success as we get repeat orders to print more question strips quite often!
