Lampshade DIY

The lighting that you choose to you have in your home is an important part of interior design and if like us you don't want to settle for a regular old lampshade then you have come to the right place. By making your own lampshade you can transform your room with fabrics of your own choice, paper and even old bottles and a few simple materials.

We've been busy pinning inspiring lampshades to our Pinterest, here are our top 3: 1. Sculptural Paper Lampshade  

You could easily recreate this using a paper latern style shade and paper in the colour of your choice. Cut the paper into varying lengths, glue it to your shade and hey presto you have a chic contemporary shade!
