Did you know that the classic smiley face design that originated in the sixties was designed by a graphic artist as a commission from an insurance company to boost moral amongst its staff. It was an instant hit and now an iconic design!
Cross stitch is a perfect little craft to do if to keep your hands and mind busy, and is a meditative craft to relax with.
Kit includes:
- one 3" mini wooden hoop
- Aida fabric (that's the holey material you stitch through!)
- Felt to cover the back
- DMC threads and cross stitch needle
- Full colour stitch pattern and 'How to Cross Stitch' leaflet
The kit is packaged in a cute coloured box (that?s fully recyclable) measuring approx 10 x 2 x 15cm, that can be used to store your work in progress, or sent to someone as a perfect creative gift. ?
The finished work measures approx 3?/8cm and has a piece of felt to cover the stitching at the back when you are finished. This project is suitable for beginners but contains small parts so is not suitable for under 14's. Should be used under the direct supervision of an adult.
