Manchester's best-kept secret, the phenomenal Art Battle will be staging its biggest event yet!

We partnered with Manchester Craft Mafia (MCM) a few years back, supporting the group's creative activities; so we thought it was high time that they presented their work in our Manchester window.

This year, creative agency The Neighbourhood are taking imaginative gift giving to a new height!

We spoke to Wayne Hemmingway to hear his take on fashion and sustainability.

Artists Sarah Marsh and Jessica Wild have been back in the FA Laser studio creating pieces for Manchester Art Gallery's Clore Art Studio. They have created a space for families to interact with ideas and each other; exploring the theme of Transformations through sensory, imaginary and creative 'play', taking inspiration from the new exhibition; Imitation Game. Explore the space and all the different ways you can transform yourself. Get creative with modern calligraphy and work it into your daily writing, cards and events! This workshop is designed for those piqued by the art of calligraphy and specially tailored to beginners who wish to explore this art of writing with a pointed pen. Taking a modern spin, you will enjoy a 3 hour workshop learning about the basics of calligraphy consisting of handling a pointed pen, drills, letter forms and finally be well equipped to create a simple artwork at the end of the session.
