Form, Composition, and Colour

Reduction, simplification, and clarity are at the heart of her practice. Guided by daily interactions and everyday forms, both natural and artificial, she delves into the interplay between form, composition, and colour. After extensive research, Clare begins by drawing and manipulating shapes, occasionally using collage, primarily working digitally. Her work may evolve into design, paintings, or more tactile forms like printmaking. Motifs are assembled, dismantled, and reassembled multiple times until the colours and compositions are refined and almost repetitive.

Clare has produced artwork in a variety of media for clients in both the UK and US and currently lives and works in Manchester.
